We recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tropical Institute for Sustainable Development (TISD), marking a significant milestone in strengthening collaboration in corporate capacity building, training, research and resource mobilization.
A key outcome of the partnership is the establishment of a Centre of Excellence in Resource Mobilization at TSNP, which will serve as a central hub for corporate capacity building, professional training and institutional development. The Centre will provide a platform where corporate organizations, TVET institutions, government agencies, NGOs and other stakeholders can access specialized training and capacity-building programmes tailored to their professional and institutional needs.
The Centre will initially focus on Resource Mobilization training, equipping participants with practical skills in identifying funding opportunities, developing competitive proposals, mobilizing resources and establishing sustainable funding streams. Over time, the partnership will support the expansion of corporate training, consultancy, mentorship, research and other capacity-building initiatives.
Under the collaboration, TSNP will host the Centre and provide the institutional platform for delivering the programmes, while TISD will contribute technical expertise, trainers, mentorship and support in programme development and implementation. The partnership will also facilitate knowledge sharing and strengthen TSNP’s capacity to deliver professional training programmes independently over time.
The establishment of the Centre reinforces TSNP’s commitment to becoming a leading destination for professional and corporate capacity building, while strengthening partnerships that promote innovation, institutional growth and sustainable development.
